The Waterfront Inn - Our Booking Terms

We try to keep to a minimum our terms and conditions here at the Waterfront Inn as our aim is not to restrict guests but to offer you the best Bed and Breakfast experience that we can - inevitably, though, there are some things we need to point out - please read.

Cancellation

We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel a room booking. We are normally happy to offer a full refund when rooms are cancelled with 48 hours notice and with good reason.

However, we reserve the right to charge the following if rooms are cancelled after booking:

Damage to Rooms

We are sure that Waterfront Inn guests will be responsible guests; however, occasionally accidents happen. If you cause a spill please inform us – we will come up to clean it straightaway for you.

However, significant damage to rooms will be charged for at the rate of repair or replacement. In these unusual circumstances, a letter will be sent to you within 7 days detailing the damage and the costs - we expect you to settle the bill within 28 days.

Smoking

Sorry – but smoking in rooms is not permitted. We understand this can be inconvenient but should there be evidence of smoking in a room (even leaning out of the window does not stop the smell contaminating a room for our next guests) an additional night's accommodation will be charged to cover the cost of airing and cleaning the room. By smoking in the room you are causing damage and thus authorising us to charge your card for an additional night's stay.

We do provide ash trays in the designated smoking areas on the sun terraces on the lower level, where you are welcome to smoke.

Lost Keys

Should you lose your room keys, we reserve the right to make charge of £50 to cover the cost of replacing the locks and keys.
